Mike Arauz's slideshare presentation on "Design for Networks" is brilliant. Design for Networks His thinking in the above is only surpassed by his very own post on the same topic.I'm honored to know Mr. Arauz and pray one day we have real drinks as he keeps tantalizing me with his drink mixing tweets. Nice. I think you nailed it in terms of processes influencing output. It’s kinda obvious BUT almost always overlooked. It’s the gap between great thinking and great ideas. Put great thinking through a process that limits creativity, always delivers mediocre ideas that are pretty much what we were expecting.

Thanks for the comments, Stephen and Jason!
Yeah... we're working on a new up front process at the agency I'm at. It's been a lot of fun to pull from the design side of the industry and look for ways to help a team get inspired and work together towards something unexpected.
The #BBHchat presentation totally resonated with me. Love the call to get out there and start doing vs. building models.
