Following up on the Passion Economy eBook, I'm excited to announce the birth of "The Passion Files."
This is meant to be a podcast, but I'm still working through the feed and subscription options. So, in the interim, I give you a Slidecast version. I've taken the audio podcast and matched it up with a few visuals. Just hit play and enjoy. It's 11 minutes long.
Many thanks to David Armano, our first guest.
We discuss the role of passion in integrated communications, sun-shaped people, the Adidas campaign, earned media, the role of evangelists and the debate over Scott Monty at Ford.
Please send me your comments and feedback. It's my first podcast ever and it was quite the learning curve. My apologies in advance for the skype noise.
Sean, great way to advance the conversation! And Armano is the perfect guy to experiment with! Grin.
Will give this a look and give more informed feedback. But wanted to encourage you along!
Keep creating...with abandon,
Mike

Thanks Michael!
Numbers 2 and 3 are in the can. Just have to edit them.
And figure out the podcast feed, a place for it to live, oy... what have I done?!! ;)

Sean: choosing Armano for your first interview was a triple hit - David's use of his library of his visuals to illustrate his responses, the use of Slideshare audio-casting, and the deep level of Passion that David brings to the interview (both his own, and the passions of people he mentions in the interview)
You couldn't have chosen a better subject for your launch of the Passion Files.

Thanks Dave!
Some very kind remarks. I just swung by your site. You have some amazing finds in the visual thinking space. Are you familiar with VizThink? You might want to look them up and see if they have a chapter in your area if not.

I saw the beginning and I am already loving it. I will come by again to view the entire slidecast. I am also looking forward to more of this. Great work!

I am convinced that David Armano's use of his library of visuals to support his responses in your interview is close to being( if not the) first combo of this nature.
I am taking a metaview of David's last 3 slidshare preso's including yours, to see how he remixes his library images to fit the presentation audience or interviewer questions.
The library is a treasure trove of great design and content and it's a wonderful gift from David to the world of presenters who can use it freely ( with attribution) to be more productive in their own visual thinking and presentation.

Hey Dave,
My apology for the delay in responding.
It was David's library that allowed me to create this presentation. The interesting part being that I selected all the photos and built my questions around them. His opening his resource allowed me to create this entirely without his participation yet clearly promotes him, his thinking and his knowledge.
A great example for the power of giving away our thinking. Something many folks are struggling to find their position on in the consulting space.
I've also created a beast. The slidecast was a fun way to explore the podcast with David's visuals. But now I'm finding myself looking to do the same with the other interviews already in the can with no access to such a library...
